Tracy Ann Canning, 44, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Friday, March 8th, 2024, at her home. She was born January 4th, 1980, in Hope, Arkansas, to Will Whitten and Nancy East Barton. Tracy Graduated from Lewisville High School in 1998, and went on to attend University of Hope Arkansas Texarkana where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She held multiple job titles throughout her life. From working with Children Family Services to helping manage Barton’s Grocery. Tracy had a deep love for her husband and cherished her precious daughter, Lilly. She is preceded in death by her father Will Whitten, her grandparents Clifton and Wanda East, Aunt Patricia East Volentine, mother-in-law Ginny Canning, and one nephew Treysen Barton.
She was survived by her husband of 17 years, Jeremy Canning, and daughter Lilly Ann Canning of Hope, Arkansas. Mother, Nancy East Barton and Stepfather Sammy Barton of Hope, Arkansas. Two Sisters, Alisha Barton Nipper (Troy), Texarkana, Tx, Kathleen Barton Minton (Jason), Hope, Arkansas. Two Brothers, Tyler Barton (Lindsey), Hope, Arkansas, Daniel Barton (Sheyanne), Washington, AR, One Brother-in-Law, Brian Canning (Kristal), New Boston, TX. Nephews. Teyton, Tristin, Kase, Koup Barton, Zane, Jacob, Jade, Krew Minton. Nieces Charlee and Chaney Barton, Elana Canning, and one great Neice Letty Barton.
Visitation will be Thursday March 14, 2024, from 5-7pm. Funeral Services will be at 2pm, Friday March 15, 2024, Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel, Hope, Arkansas, with Brother Eric Fisher officiating. Burial to follow in Shover Springs Cemetery, Shover Springs, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Barton, Daniel Barton, Teyton Barton, Tristin Barton, Zane Minton, and Brian Canning.
