Thomas Allen McGraw, 76, 511 Robin Road, died Monday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Born Dec. 18, 1894 at Ivy, Ark., he was the son of Matthew L. and Muttie Riggan McGraw. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and was a charter member of El Dorado Painter's Local No. 529. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Milton Pyron, El Dorado; two sisters, Mrs. A. E. McAllister, and Mrs. E. H. Talbert, both of Carthage; and a grandson. Funeral services were held at Parkview Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. J. B. Rose officiating. Burial will followed in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were Aubrey Cottrell, Travis Smith, W. P. Smith, Buford Ball, Kenneth Hopper, and H. E. McAllister. The honorary pallbearers were be all members of the El Dorado Painters Local No. 529. (El Dorado Times - September 14, 1971)
