Dale Kennedy, 77, of Bentonville died Dec. 29, 1994, at Heritage Park Nursing Center in Rogers. He was born April 10, 1917, in Burt, Iowa, to William Thane Kennedy and Maude Dalziel Kennedy. He was the owner of Manley (Iowa) State Bank. He moved to this area in 1979. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a 32nd-degree Mason and a member of the Odd Fellows. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bentonville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Jane Kennedy, who died in 1990.
Survivors include one niece, Marcia Black of Ames, Iowa; one nephew, Roger Jacobson of Ames, and one sister-in-law, Lela Cachiaras of Fridley, Minn.
Cremation and arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Marcia Black, 518 Garden Road, Ames, Iowa, 50010.
