Duron "Dink" Borum, 81, of Fort Smith died Saturday; July 17, 2004, in a local nursing home. He was a retired truck driver for Arkhola Sand & Gravel and a member and deacon of Temple Baptist Church.

Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Temple Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, three sisters and four grandchildren.

Katherine Inez Borum, 87, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 7, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was born in Lavaca, Arkansas to Jesse and Lena (Carson) Stem.

She was a custom drapery seamstress for 28 years for Sears. A member of Temple Baptist Church she was preceded in death by her husband Duron "Dink" Borum.

Funeral services are 10:00 AM Monday, September 10, 2012 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Borum and his wife Patty of Fort Smith, Arkansas and David Borum and his wife Debbie of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two sisters, Lora Jennings of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Ann Leete of Lavaca, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Casey Borum and his wife Emily of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jeff Borum and his wife Ashley of Scottsdale, Arizona, Candace Lea and her husband Trent of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Heath Borum and his wife Loren of Fort Smith, Arkansas and two great grandchildren, Camryn Lea and Canon Borum.
