Willie Pearl Taylor, age 80, of Prescott, passed from this life on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Prescott. She was born April 3, 1939 in Amity, the daughter of the late Calvin and Willie Sullivan Cox. Pearl was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School. She retired as Asst. Vice President and head of bookkeeping from bank of Prescott after thirty-seven years of service. Pearl was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Prescott. She enjoyed church activities, cooking for her family, friends and church members in her free time. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerroll L. Taylor, one brother John Cox, one son in law, Jerry Don Wilkerson and one sister, Oma Lee Bray.
Pearl is survived by one son, Jerroll W. Taylor Sr. (Leslie) of Prescott, one daughter, Lynda Wilkerson of Millington, TN, four grandchildren, Jerroll W. Taylor, Jr., Jeremy L. Taylor, Felicia Taylor, Jason Don (Crystal) Wilkerson, five great-grandchildren, Clayton and Cheyanne Taylor, Audrey and Jacob Wilkerson and Adley Spielman.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Prescott with Bro. Frank Henson and Bro. David Bowen officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until service time at the church on Saturday.
Interment will be in DeAnn Cemetery at Prescott.
Pallbearers are Clayton Taylor, Donnie Hunt, Terry Oliver, Eugene Greenwood, J-Bo LaLumandier and Carroll Pearson.
