January 11, 1948 - February 11, 2011
Betty Jean Collins Spaulding was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was born January 11, 1948 and went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2011. Her greatest mission in life, besides her family, was witnessing to others so that they may know eternal salvation through Our Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of Harvest International Ministries Church. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mom, Joyce Lynn Collins; her father, Johnny Collins, Sr.; brother, Johnny Wayne Collins; sister-in-law, Pat Collins; father-in-law, John Spaulding; mother-in-law, Sarah Spaulding and many other relatives. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, David Spaulding; one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kim Spaulding; two daughters and one son-in-law; Lana and John Cates and Carrie Stinson; seven grandchildren, Sawyer, Piper and Hartley Spaulding, Chris Guilbeau, Katie Cates, Skyler Anable and Emma Grace Stinson; one brother, Billy Dean Collins; two special friends, Debbie Langford and Terry Scooter Stinson and many other family and friends. The family of Mrs. Spaulding will be at 4117 Garland Street, Texarkana, Arkansas 71854. The family may also be contacted by phone at 903-278-5968. Visitation will be Sunday, February 13, 2011 between the hours of 3-5 pm at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 am in the Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tracy Harris officiating, interment to follow in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, Arkansas.
