April 25, 1930 - March 20, 2011
Mary Sue Haynie of Jonesboro, formerly of Magnolia, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Mary was born April 25, 1930, at Laneburg to Alton and Julia Richardson.
She and her husband Ralph lived in Magnolia and were members of Central Baptist Church for 50 years before moving to Jonesboro in 2008 and joining First Baptist Church.
Mary worked for the Banner-News in Magnolia and was the general manager at the time of her retirement in 1995.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph; three brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by two sons, Joe (Martha) Haynie and Glenn Haynie, all of Jonesboro; two grand-children, Chris (Audrey) Haynie of Trumann and Mandy Haynie of Jonesboro; three great-grand-children, Morgan, Isaac, and Jonah Haynie of Trumann; one brother, John (Kathy) Richardson of Laneburg; several nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Deann Cemetery at Prescott.
