*When James Arnold Martin was born on December 1, 1880, in Searcy, Arkansas, his father, James, was 34 and his mother, Perlina, was 40. He married Lula Magnala 'Maggie' Chestnut on September 3, 1899. They had four children during their marriage. He died on December 24, 1960, at the age of 80, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
*Lula Magnala 'Maggie' Chestnut was born on March 3, 1881, in West Plains, Missouri. She married James Arnold Martin on September 3, 1899. They had four children during their marriage. She died on July 16, 1955, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 74, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
