July 5, 1936 - October 7, 1995
Dessie Wilson was born July 5, 1936, to the late Leslie and Dessie Davis Pratt in Grand Cane, Louisiana. Dessie left Louisiana and came to Fort Smith where her twin sister, Bessie lived. She joined the Staint James Baptist Church. She was married to the late Johnny Wilson and to that marriage one son was born. Dessie was employed by Don and Fayla Flanders for over thirty years. She was president of the Senior and Junior Board of Ushers, a member of the CRC and Elmire Whitfield Circle. She died on October 7, 1995, in her home in Forth Smith, Arkansas.
