Helen "Ruth" Myrtle Williams was the first born of five children. She was born on April 21, 1910 to the late Hezekiah Kindle and Addie Starks Kindle in Morrilton, Arkansas. She began her education in the Public schools of Conway county. Upon completing her studies there, she attended Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, Arkansas. She loved to sing. Often she and her brother Roy and sister Rachel would sing as a trio at Church and local activities in Morrilton and the surrounding communities. She married A. Z. Williams February 5, 1932, he preceded her in death. To this union four children were born. In 1947, she and her family moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas and she joined the King Solomon Baptist Church..She later joined the First Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Youth Supervisor, BTU Worker, President of the Senior Choir, Deaconess, Church Clerk, Sunshine Band Leader and a member of her Beloved "Circle Ruth". In the latter years she pursued an interest in Oil painting. She would proudly display her paintings to family and friends. She died May 1, 1995 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
