Norris
March 27, 1910 - June 30, 1983
Norris Reed was born the son of the late Mrs. Lucinda Haney on March 27, 1910. He was baptized, and became a member of the Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. He later united with the Mission Point Baptist church on December 17, 1967. He married Amanda Morrison in December 1939. As a member of Mission Point Baptist Church he served as chairman of the Trustee Board, Chairman of the building Fund, a member of the choir and a teacher in the Brotherhood. He also served as the second Vice-President of the Antioch Regular District Singing Convention. He was also a longtime railroad employee and retiree. He died on Thursday, June 30, 1983 in Van Buren, Arkansas.

April 15, 1908 - October 28, 1994
Amanda Morrison Reed was born April 15, 1908 to the late Edward and Laura Morrison. She attended Douglas School in Van Buren, Arkansas. At an early age she joined the Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where she worked faithfully as Treasurer, Tithes & Dues Secretary, a member of the Missionary Society, Prayer Board and Sunday School until her health began to fail. she was married to the late Norris Reed. She was the sister of the late Mattie Wakefield.
