When Robin Rolin Marsh was born on September 5, 1847, in Warren, Tennessee, his father, John, was 22 and his mother, Ann, was 21. He married Jacintha Jane K Owens on February 24, 1870, in Searcy, Arkansas. They had seven children in 17 years. He died on January 26, 1924, in Pangburn, Arkansas, at the age of 76.
