Mary Kathleen "Kay" Boles, 84, of Springdale died Aug. 5, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center. She was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Okmulgee, Okla., to O.D. and Maxine Minesinger.

At a young age, she moved to Denison, Texas, where she graduated from St. Xavier's Academy and Draughons Business College. She has been a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church since its beginning. Kay enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling. She was a member of the Altar Society, Church-Women United, Senior Club and a past member of the Razorback Ramblers Chapter 152 Recreational Vehicle Association, Good Sam Club and MSACA of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Gordon Boles.

Survivors include her son, Bruce Boles and wife Linda of Omaha, Neb.; her daughter, Paula Boles and Mark Czmyrid of Springdale.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springdale with the Rev. John Antony officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 7 at Sisco Chapel in Springdale. The family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

The family would like to thank her many friends who provided Kay with fond and loving memories throughout her lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springdale Meals on Wheels, 203 Park St., Springdale, 72764.
