Margaret Kenny Russenberger, 89, widow of Ernest H. Russenberger, died August 19, 2010. She was born January 6, 1921, in Little Rock, AR, to the late William and Mary (Allen) Kenney. She was a charter member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, in Little Rock, and obtained a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Lyon College, in Batesville.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, E. Kenneth Russenberger, Daniel Russenberger, and Tim Russenberger; three sisters; one grandson and one great grandson. Mrs. Russenberger is survived by ten of her thirteen children, four sons, A. Frank Russenberger (Kay) of Searcy, Patrick Russenberger (Cheria) of Heber Springs, Mark Russenberger (Brenda) of Lonsdale, Ark., and Chris Russenberger (Diane) of Judsonia; six daughters, Charlotte Waddle (James) of Pangburn, Phyllis Patrick (Raymond) of Pangburn, Janet McKinney of Pangburn; Peggy McKinney (Mike) of Little Rock, Mary Jones (Ronnie) of Pangburn, and Diane Taylor of The Woodlands, Texas; two sisters, Bernadine Savory of Little Rock and Evelyn Maxwell of Fort Worth, Texas; 31 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Sunday, August 22, 2010, with a Rosary Service beginning at 7 p.m., at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, in Searcy. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 23, 2010, at St. James Catholic Church, 1102 Pioneer Rd., in Searcy, by Father John Agbakwuo. Interment will follow in Henderson Cemetery, at Pangburn. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family requests memorial contributions be made to: St. James Catholic Church, P.O. Box 172 Searcy, Ark. 72145 Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.

*When Ernest Herbert Russenberger was born on May 8, 1918, in Little Rock, Arkansas, his father, Christian, was 58 and his mother, Minnie, was 40. He married Margaret Magdaline Kenney on December 3, 1939, in Pulaski, Arkansas. They had 13 children in 11 years. He died on May 20, 2005, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 87, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.

*When Margaret Magdaline Kenney was born on January 6, 1921, in Little Rock, Arkansas, her father, William, was 26, and her mother, Mary, was 22. She married Ernest Herbert Russenberger on December 3, 1939, in Pulaski, Arkansas. They had 13 children in 11 years. She died on August 19, 2010, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 89, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
