*When Edward B. Lewis was born on October 9, 1876, in Des Arc, Missouri, his father, James, was 29 and his mother, Lucinda, was 26. He married Kate Dubbs and they had seven children together. He then married Bertha Ann Yingling on February 15, 1936. He died on August 5, 1957, in Clinton, Arkansas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
*Kate Dubbs was born on October 25, 1878, in Missouri. She married Edward B. Lewis on June 3, 1900, in Des Arc, Missouri. They had seven children in 15 years. She died on July 21, 1932, in Clinton, Arkansas, at the age of 53, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
*Bertha Ann Yingling was born on September 30, 1892, in Arkansas. She married Edward B. Lewis on February 15, 1936. She died having lived for more than 100 years. She died on November 27, 1995, in Clinton, Arkansas, at the age of 103.
