December 26, 1946 - June 28, 2023
Mary Ruth Furr, 76, of Hot Springs, went home to be with the Lord on June 28, 2023. She was born in Hot Springs on December, 26, 1946 to the late Arthur and Jewel Evans. Mary was a devoted Christian. She loved reading her Bible, watching Christian television each morning, spending time with her family, arts and crafts, and watching Bob Ross paint. The color purple, cats, and butterflies were some of her favorite things.
She is also predeceased by her beloved husband, Markis Furr and son, Gary Phillips.
Loving survivors include her daughter, Marlana (Sam) Hill; brother, Darrell (Sandy) Evans; sister, Brenda Simmons; three grandchildren, Dakota Hill, Taylor Hill, and Melissa Hill.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
