August 12, 1946 - August 17, 2022
Sandra G. Vale, 76, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord August 17, 2022. She
was born August 12, 1946, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Eva Lena (Handlin) and Frank P. Mulea.
Sandy lived most of her life in her birthplace of Hot Springs, Arkansas, briefly in a few other states
across the United States, and also in Nancy, France in her early childhood with her parents during a
military deployment. She considered Hot Springs her hometown, and always wanted to be close to
family living there.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Lena (Handlin) Jones, father Frank P. Mulea, stepfather
Estil W. Jones, brother Michael A. Jones, and sisters-in-law Jana Jones and Pamela Jones.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 33 years, Charles W. Vale; brothers Steven Jones and Jeffery
(Carolyn) Jones of Hot Springs, sisters Carol (Bill) Pratt, Sherry (Billy) Glaze, and Karen (Wade)
Steele of the area; son Donald (Stacey) Loden; daughters Sheila (Don) Terry, Angela (Gary) Morgan all
of Hot Springs; grandchildren Faith (Matthew) McCallister, Veronica (Edgar) Canales, Colton Terry,
Kaitlin Loden, Mackenzie (Matt) Harper, Dakota (Anna) Terry, Lidia Camacho, Allison (Jhonnie)
Scott, Nathan Loden, Gregory Terry, and Alejandro Camacho; great-grandchildren Norah Harper,
Morgan McCallister, Micah Harper, Asher McCallister, Jovie Harper, Marcello Canales, Phoebe
Canales, Lyra Canales, Tripp Scott, and Benjamin McCallister; and many cousins, nephews, and
nieces.
Visitation will be Monday, August 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Sandra’s life will be Tuesday, August 23, 10:00 a.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
