GRAVETTE — Virginia Simpkins, 65, of Gravette died April 23, 2007, at her home. She was born Sept. 3, 1941, in Hardy to John Anderson and Julia Kathryn Davis Rogers.
She moved to the area in 1964 from Hardy. She was a waitress and a stocker at Wal-Mart. She attended Maysville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Simpkins and one grandson, Jeremiah Lee Nell.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Lucita Henderson and David of Gravette and Julia Kathryn Simpkins of Bentonville; one son, Doyle Dean Wess and Christina of Cordell, Okla.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Raymond Scott officiating.
