April 4, 1922 - March 10, 2020
Mr. Richard Melvin Foote of Huntington, Arkansas, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at his home. Mr. Foote was 87 years, 11 months, and 6 days old.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Laura Foote.
Mr. Foote was a World War II veteran and a member of Dayton Baptist Chruch.
Mr. Foote was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 11 years: Eva Lou Foote.
He is survived by a daughter: Lana Van Meter and her husband: John; a granddaughter: Misty Fitzgerald; one grandson Jacob Van Meter; one great-grandchild Alix Baldwin; one sister-in-law Naomi Foote; numerous step-grandchildren; other relatives; and a host of good friends.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Dayton Baptist Chruch. Mr. Foote was laid to rest at Union Ridge Cemetery.
