FAYETTEVILLE — Fay Forrest Luther, 93, a lifetime resident of the Savoy Community near Fayetteville, passed away Nov. 21, 2008, at North Hills Life Care and Rehab in Fayetteville. He was born Sept. 1, 1915, at Savoy, the son of Vester and Anna Howe Luther.
He was a charter member of the Howe-Savoy Bible Church. He had served as president of the Farmington School Board and Farm Bureau, a Washington County 4-H leader and a member of the Prairie Grove Chapter of the Gideons.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Frances Mae Luther; one infant son, Ray; eight brothers, Roland, Homer, George, Otis; his twin brother, Ray, and three infant brothers.
Survivors include one son, Frank Luther and his wife Janice of Fayetteville; two grandsons, John Luther and his wife Ginny and James Luther and his wife Becky; and three great-grandchildren, Claire, Violet and Nathan Forrest.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with Bill Allen and Dr. John H. Moore officiating with burial in White Oak Cemetery in Savoy.

FAYETTEVILLE — Frances Mae Luther, 92, of Fayetteville died April 24, 2007, at Fayetteville. She was born Dec. 18, 1914, in Viney Grove to Ewing Frederick and Frances Alice Gillis Matthews.
She was a charter member of Howe-Savoy Bible Church and was active in the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Arkansas, the 4-H and Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Ray Luther.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Fay Luther of the home; one son, Frank Luther and wife Janice; two grandsons, John Luther and wife Ginny and James Luther and wife Becky; one great-granddaughter, Claire Luther, all of Fayetteville.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, online at www.luginbuel.com.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
