Cora Wear, 87, of North Little Rock, formerly of Fort Smith, died Aug. 8, 2003. She was born Dec. 8, 1915, in Kingston, Okla. She was the widow of Cleo 'Bill' Wear, with whom she owned and operated the West End Drugstore in Fort Smith until they retired in 1976. She is survived by two sons, James and Sammy Wear, both of North Little Rock; two brothers, Owen Driver Jr. of Ada, Okla., and Jerry Driver of Newville, Ala.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
