Mrs. Myrtle S. Jacobs, 76, of 1446 E. Bock St., died Sunday in a local hospital following a brief illness. She was a member of the West 19th Street Assembly of God Church. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Lucy Tullis; two daughters, Mrs. R. C. Ripley, Mrs. Helen Cook; three sons, Arnold Jacobs, Milton Jacobs, and Schuyler Jacobs, all of El Dorado; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Bailey Funeral home Chapel at 3 p.m. Monday with the Rev. W. R. Benton officiating. Burial followed in Caledonia Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Rex Pepper, Guy Anglin, William Joe Anglin, Clyde Powell, Frip Williamson and Eddie Pepper. (El Dorado Times - November 20, 1969)
