Pearl A. Graves, 84, of Route 5, died Friday afternoon in a local hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Graves was born April 26, 1885, in Lawson, Ar., the daughter of Frank and Ella Miller Jerry. She was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, C. E. Graves, El Dorado; and D. F. Graves, Tampa, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Aimee Buckner and Mrs. Helen Hill, both of El Dorado, and Mrs. Mary Alice Pogue, Sulfur Springs, Tex.; one brother, Charlie Jerry, El Dorado; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Graves, El Dorado; three half-brothers, Porter and Jerry and Lonzer Jerry, both of El Dorado, and Davis Jerry, Huttig; three half-sisters, Mrs. lissie Jerry and Mrs. Della Jerry, both of El Dorado, and Mrs. Bertha May Ward, Lawson; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. Mrs. Graves family will be at Mrs. Helen Hill's residence, near Lawson. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - June 14, 1969)
