Mrs. Mae Wallace Polk, 80, of Elkins, died August 9, in a local hospital. She was born July 13, 1891 in Parker County, Texas, the daughter of James B. and Nancy Flatt Wallace.
Survivors are one son, James of Saigon; four daughters, Mrs. Louise Reagan of Harrisonville, Mo., Mrs. Faye Saunders of Elkins, Mrs. Billie Moore of Corpus Christi, Tex. and Mrs. Virginia Bissett of Houston, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Loise Compton of Queen City, Tex.; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nelson's Chapel with burial in McCord Cemetery.
