Joe D. Gilliland, 92, of Springdale, died in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Oct. 3, 1880 at Goshen, be was a retired farmer, a former resident of the Wyman community, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Elbert Cosby of Whittier, Calif., and Mrs. Joe Steele of Springdale; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sisco Funeral Chapel with burial in the Bluff Cemetery.
