Martha Kate Grice age 84, of Banks, AR went to meet her Lord on Thursday, January 1st, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born October 29, 1930 in Mississippi, a daughter of the late Tandy Vail and Cora Osburn Vail. She was a retired supervisor at Sykes Flooring, a housewife and homemaker and a member of Springhill Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband whom she married October 16th 1948 in Warren, AR. Bro. Roy Grice, Jr. A son Paul Grice and spouse Cathy, Banks, AR. A brother J. E. Gardner, Warren, AR., 3 sisters Dorothy Bradford and Katherine Williams both of Warren, AR. Ann Richards, Banks AR. 3 grandchildren Randi Ross and spouse Bill, Palestine, AR, James Edward Grice, Hermitage, AR and John Wesley Grice and spouse Becky, Banks, AR. 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service was 1:30PM Sunday January 4th at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Ricky Smith officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and Dottie Smith was soloist. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Nicholas Scroggins, Bobby Richards, Tristan Richards, Lacey Hollingsworth, Austin Ross and Bradley Hankins. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Scroggins, Johnny Bradford, Jimmy Bradford, John Dees, Rick Anders, Greg Reep and Marty Reep.
