Richard Otis “Dick” Duke, Sr., 87, of Hot Springs Village passed away February 27, 2015.

He was born February 2, 1928 in East Orange, New Jersey to Guy and Marie Duke.

Dick was a US Army Air Corp veteran and was with the 188th Airborne Division. He was a retired sales executive with Therma-Tru Corporation. Dick was a devoted family man and a caregiver to all. He was opinionated, determined and a friend to many.

Dick is predeceased by his parents and sister, Jean Rose.

Loving survivors include his wife of 35 years, Linda Duke of Hot Springs Village; children, Pam D. Swan of Massachusetts, Richard Duke, Jr. (Eileen) of Colorado, Jennifer Rutherfurd (Alec) of New York, Jeff Duke (Erika) of Colorado and Leigh Ann Back (Alan) of Hot Springs Village; sister, Georgia Harvey of Connecticut; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date.

Linda June Duke, 69, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away August 12, 2015. She was born on June 17, 1946 in Hartford Arkansas to James and Genell Blaylock.

Linda was a member of Village Bible Church. She enjoyed playing tennis and hanging out with her “bestest buddy” Sue and pride and joy, Maddie.

Linda was predeceased by her husband, Richard Duke and her mother. Loving survivors include her father, James Blaylock; her daughter, Leigh Ann Back (Alan); stepsons, Richard Duke Jr. (Eileen); Jeff Duke (Erika); stepdaughters, Pam Swan and Jennifer Rutherford (Alec); sisters, Betty Burrows (Lee) and Selba Marino; one grandchild and seven step grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Caruth Village Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hot Springs Village Tennis Association, 151 Ponderosa Lane, Hot SpringsVillage, Arkansas.
