Mabel Eveyln Stewart, 83, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Fort Smith.
She was born November 2, 1926 in Leachville to James Louis and Rachel Kathryn Littlefield Brewer.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Church of he Nazarene.
She is survived by five daughters, Judy Cummings of Madisonville, Ky; Glenda Stewart of Dallas, Carla Jean Freeman of Van Buren, Sandra Lee Leonard of Fort Smith and Elaine Longstreth of Tulsa; one sister, Faye McDowell of Flint Michigan; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Glenn Stewart.
Funeral service was held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at First Church of the Nazarene in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Stewart Freeman, Rodney and Kenneth Evans, Trent and John Longstreth, Edward Stapp, Alvin Cummings, Eddie Leonard and Brandon Stapp.
