Aleen E. "Doll" Steadman, 84, of Fort Smith died December 23, 2010, at Legacy Village in Bentonville, Arkansas.
She was born August 03, 1926 in Landrum, S.C. to Virgil and Myrtle Rebecca Metcalf.
She and her husband Walter moved to Fort Smith in 1946. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Walter Steadman; three brothers, Earl, Buddy, and James.
Graveside services were held on Monday, December 27, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith. Funeral arrangements by Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Survivors include: Her daughter and husband, Lana and Bob McCaslin of Bentonville; two granddaughters and their husbands, Lauren and Jason Ross of Heath, Texas and Regan and Tim Moser of Rogers; a great-grandson, Brett Ross; three great-granddaughters, Rachel Ross, McKenzie Moser and Claire Moser; a step-sister, Martha McCutchen of Dillard, Georgia.
