Mary Megason, 94, of Springdale died April 9, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born Feb. 25, 1913, in Marble, the daughter of Alex and Buena Hatfield Wall. She was a retired grocery clerk and a Baptist. She was the widow of Merrill B. Megason, who preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1977. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Neva Jean and Cleburne Smith of Springdale; one grandson, Pete Smith of Huntsville; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Judy and Andy Macias of Springdale; two great-granddaughters, Billie Jean Smith of Fayetteville and Alicia Atkinson of Springdale; two great-great-grandsons and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12 at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Larry Montgomery officiating. Interment will be in Alabam Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Larry Wall, Doug Wall, Jack Wilson, Don Harp, Kenny Hudson and Brent Tisdale.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Wall and Andy Macias.
