Sharah Lynn BENTON

Morning Star Cemetery
Garland County,
Arkansas

July 20, 1981 - August 23, 2020

Sharah Lynn Benton, 39, of Hot Springs, fell asleep with Jesus our Lord on August 23, 2020 at 9:21pm. She received her healing in the Presence of The Most High God! You, Sharah Lynn Benton, will be my forever best friend. I'll never be the same without you by my side. I have been truly changed by your life, love, and devotion to Lord Jesus! You are a true example of a Proverbs 31 woman! I love you and miss you dearly. Nothing can pull me away from my devotion to Jesus and raising our two beautiful daughters in Christ! Lord, thank you for the privilege of knowing your daughter Sharah for nine years to the day! We met August 23, 2011, and said a temporary goodbye on August 23, 2020. We look to You Jesus, our Source of life! I remain your loving husband, Mark.

"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” -Jesus Christ The Messiah-
Acts 4:12

Sharah was a proud graduate of Christian Ministries Academy and faithful member of Christian Ministries Church for nearly three decades. She was devoted to her husband and children, understanding family to be one of the highest callings a woman can have on her life. Additionally, she was a faithful and loyal team member at Chick-fil-A Hot Springs these past 12 years, naturally embodying its mission and vision in all areas of her life. She radiated joy. Besides being a fan of chicken, she enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and spending time at the family hunting retreat.

Sharah leaves behind the love of her life and husband, Mark; daughters, Ava Lynn and Daisy May; parents, Ronald and Shelia Chaffin; her Nanna Ju and Uncle Gee, whom she considered her second parents; brother, Jason (Misty) Chaffin; twin sister, Shannon Allen; her in-laws, Trent and Shirley Benton; brother-in-law, Lesley Benton; sister-in-law, Sindy (Rick) Roark; 7 nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration for Sharah will begin at noon on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Christian Ministries Church, graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm at Morning Star Cemetery with Pastor Paul Kern officiating.

Pallbearers are Jordan and Thomas Chaffin, Allen Echols, Riley Benton, Mike West, and Josh Barnett.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christian Ministries Academy’s "playground fund" @ https://christian-ministries-academy.square.site/ or by calling (501)624-1952. She loved seeing her daughters laugh and play; they will directly benefit as will many other children for years to come.
