Jimmie Esther Desadier, 76, of Lowell, Arkansas passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born August 21, 1945, in Goldonna, Louisiana the daughter of Curtis and Bernice Johnson Hay. Jimmie had a love for reading and started a Facebook group called Chronic Illness and Fibromyalgia which offered support to others. She loved to spend time with her family and spoil her grandchildren. Jimmie graduated from University of Louisiana-Monroe with her master’s degree and then went through the PHD program at University of Louisiana. She was certified to teach in Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas and went on teach English for over 20 years and made an impact to all her students.
Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Charlie Hay, and one great-grandson Christian Noah Sexton. She is survived by her husband, John Desadier, of the home, two sons, Lisle and wife Sherie Desadier and John and wife Sheila Desadier, both from Rogers, Arkansas, three sisters, Frances Johnese of Ferriday, Louisiana, Margie and husband Eugine Desadier of Campti, Louisiana, Jean Ferreira of Lovelock, Nevada, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas and the service will be held Saturday, November 27th at 10:00 am at the Rogers Freewill Baptist Church with a burial at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, Arkansas.
