Robert “Bob” Frank Sluppick, 70, of Chidester, Arkansas, passed away December 16, 2019. He was born April 17, 1949, in Hot Springs to Frank and Helen (Small) Sluppick.
Bob was a beloved longtime member of Adams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Chidester. He was a hard worker who loved to spend time hunting and fishing with his family. He also loved spending time with his dog, Rowdy. He had a very kind, caring heart. He would do everything he could to help his friends and family. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Sluppick; son, Robert Sluppick; brother Ronnie Sluppick; and grandson Dylan Clement.
Loving survivors include son Doyle Bland Jr.; daughters Tina Clement (Darrell), Carla Bruce (Jerry) and Christy Myers (Mark); daughter-in-law Tonia Sluppick; brothers Tommy Sluppick (Judy) and David Sluppick (Annie); sisters Susie White, Theresa Sluppick, Mary Robbins (Mike), Linda Hutter (Roger) and Patty Calaway (Donn); grandchildren Angelic, Brandon, Rylee, Alyssa, Julie, Kyler, Courtney, Joshua, Codey, Alexis, and Harleigh; great-grandchildren Oliver, Charlie, and Stella.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, at Morning Star Cemetery, with Pastor David Johnson officiating.
Pallbearers are Tommy Sluppick, Roger Hutter, Mike Robbins, Brady Calaway, KC Reed, Codey Myers.
Honorary Pallbearers are David Ohara, Mark Myers, Josh Allen, Doyle Bland, Adams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, CHI St. Vincent ICU staff, and the Arkansas Hospice staff.
