Patricia French Moore, 89, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on June 4, 2023. She was born on October 22, 1933 in Diaz, Arkansas to the late Lee French and Myrle Carter French. She loved music her entire life and was a church pianist for years. Family members treasure the countless hours spent listening to Grandmamma play hymns and she instilled in her grandchildren a love for gospel music and piano playing. Pat was a devoted member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Hot Springs and previously was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Searcy, AR. Through the years she taught sunday school classes, rocked nursery babies, and supported her husband as they helped to organize Twin Lakes Baptist Church. Her first love was her family and serving Christ through music.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Calvin Moore, Jr., and a daughter, Connie Ivy and husband, Jackie, both of Tupelo, Mississippi; and a son, Mark Moore of Hot Springs. She is survived by son Michael Moore, daughter-in-law Desiree Moore of Hot Springs; three granddaughters, Molly Ivy (Andrew) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Haley Moore of Dallas, Texas and Hannah Panko (Cole) of Denver, Colorado; and four great-grandchildren Joshua, Bryan, Blair and Rowan of Corpus Christi, Texas. Arrangements pending and will be announced by the family at a future date.
