September 19, 1920 - March 10, 2010
Wilma E. Overton, 89, of Hot Springs went to be with her Lord in Heaven March 10, 2010. She was born September 19, 1920 in Hot Springs to Ernest Edgar Wilson and Anna Ruby (Cole) Wilson. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Mary Louise Robbins and a grand nephew, Jonathan Robbins. Survivors include, son, William Hughen and wife Joan of New Hampshire; son, James Overton of California; 4 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nephews: Mike Robbins and wife Mary of Hot Springs and Jay Robbins and wife Sue of Hot Springs; grand niece, Melissa Large of Texas; and a special friend, Melody McDaniel of Hot Springs. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Morning Star Cemetery with Pastor Bill Carter officiating. Friends and family will gather at the home of Jay and Sue Robbins Friday, March 12 from 5-7 p.m. Honorary Pallbearers are: Pearl Campbell, Tyler and Justin Pratt, Bill Canada, The Pines Nursing Home, and Cedar Glades Baptist Church.
