Etoil Lou “Toy” Hogg McMullen, 88, of Hot Springs passed peacefully on June 16, 2016. Born to the late Roscoe and Edna Irons, Toy was spirited and friendly. She was often described as never having met a stranger. Toy retired from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Star City. Her love of wrestling was second only to the love of her family. Toy’s grandchildren affectionately referred to her as “Mimi.” She will be deeply missed by her children Barbara (Johnny) Boley, Betty(Jerry) Wright, Leonard (Margaret) Hogg; grandchildren Ricky (Kristi) Wright, Bryan Wright, Brandon (Mandy) Hogg, Michelle Hogg, Julie Boley; great grandchildren Jacob Wright, Luke Anderson, Jordon Wright, Laney Anderson, Ryne Hogg, McKenzye Hogg, Isabella Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews. Toy was predeceased by two children Ricky Allen, and Edna Gene; siblings Syble Roberts, Zonah Ney, Freda Kirkendall, Floyd Irons and Jimmy Irons; husbands H.L. “Buddy” Hogg and J.C. “Jack” McMullen; and a beloved grand daughter Jennifer Boley. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Morning Star Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Arkansas Sheriff’s Association Youth Ranch or Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
