June 24, 1923 - October 13, 2017
Maxine A. Combs passed away on October 13, 2017. She was born June 22, 1923, to her parents, Delbert and Ruby Burks. Maxine was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her son, Robert C. Combs (Glynda); sister, Bonnie Hamilton; brother, J.D. Burks; grandchildren, Chris Combs (LaDonna), Kim Wells (Mike), Karen Wright (Mika), Clay Combs (Brittany); twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. (Robert) Combs; daughter-in-law, Sharon Combs; brothers, Theo Burks, James Burks; and sister, Patsy Ann Burks.
A celebration of Maxine’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Morning Star Cemetery with Chris Combs and Clay Combs officiating.
