September 7, 1943 - March 14, 2011
Linda Freeland Coston, age 67, of Camden, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at her home. She was born to J. Lee and Helen Jeffries Freeland on September 7, 1943 in Camden. She was employed by Merchants and Planters Bank for 24 years and was a member of the Cullendale First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Bill Freeland.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Coston, of Camden, a daughter Lana Shambley and husband Bob of Gulf Shores, AL, a son, Todd Coston and wife Tina of Camden, grandchildren, Nathan Shambley of Foley, AL, Eden Shambley of Gulf Shores, AL, Sydney Coston of Oklahoma City, OK, one great grandaughter Ali Shambley of Mississippi, and a brother Claude Freeland of Felsenthal, AR and his three children.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Lakeside Cemetery. Dr. Jimmy Burkes and Jerry Arrington will officiate the service. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Proctor Funeral Home. To sign the online guest register visit www.proctorfuneralhome.com.
