FAYETTEVILLE — Norma N. Hankins Guthrie, 85, of Fayetteville died April 1, 2007, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born May 24, 1921, in Boston to Sol and Fairlena Thomas Mitchell. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James L. Hankins and Edward Guthrie; one son, Larry Hankins; two great-grandchildren, Xavier Hankins and Lacy Elkins.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Hankins of Farmington and Ronnie Hankins of South Mills, N.C.; four daughters, Jean Dickerson of the home, Barbara Waits of Fayetteville, Lucille Benjamin of Oklahoma City and Peggy Love of Springdale; one brother, Lewis M. Mitchell of Fayetteville; 21
grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Pinnacle Community Church. Burial will be in Pinnacle Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.
