Marjorie Phillips, 93, passed away November 20, 2011 in Fort Smith.
She was born January 24, 1918 in DeQueen, AR to Lewis T. and Rosa Dyson Galloway.
She was a former employee of Tankersley Packing and Edds Medical Clinic in Van Buren, and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She was a resident of Willowbrook Retirement Home where she resided the past 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Phillips; and her daughter; Brenda Fitting. She was also preceded in death by her three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by two daughters; Joyce Gray of Bella Vista, AR and Patsy Tuer and her husband Gary, of Mtn. Home, TX, one son; Lynn Phillips and his wife Pat, of Franklin, N.C., one sister; Dorothy Carruth of Memphis, TN, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2011 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
