January 12, 1924 - March 27, 2005
Nancy Jane Parker, age 81, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, formerly of Fort Smith, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, in Sallisaw. She was a retired nurse from St. Edward Mercy Medical Center and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. George William and Mildred Newman; her first husband, William Furner; and her second husband, Carl Parker Jr.
Services for Mrs. Parker was held on Wednesday March 30, at 2 p.m. at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
She is survived by her daughter, and her husband Larry of Sallisaw, three sons, and their spouses, three stepsons, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
