Helen was the daughter of Henry Franklin Valentine and Johnanna Carnahan.
Southwest Times Record July 26, 1996-Obits:
Helen V. Montgomery, 81 of Fort Smith died Wednesday, July 24, 1996, in a local hospital. She was a retired secretary for United Peoples Savings and a member of First Christian Church.
Funeral will be 10 am July 27 in Ewards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her guardian and companion, Joan Kwel Brown of Fort Smith, and a cousin Mrs. Ivan C. Berry.
