Edith Jones Meeks Audas was born to Virgil N. Jones (1888-1976) & Cassie Grey Willyard Jones (1879-1967). Married to Emmanunel J. Meeks (1910-1965) with whom she had one son Emmanuel J. Meeks II (Montie) (1941-1943) after E.J.'s death she married Ted Audas (1900-1968) of Waldron, AR. Edith was a retired wholesale representative for several Ft. Smith businesses (Crane Candy Co., E.A. Grober & Assoc. & Glidwell Dist. Co.) A member of Amrita Caldren, where she was a past Mighty Chosen One (Daughters of Mokanna)& White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Liberty Chapter No. 402 serving for 30 years as treasurer.
