Ms. Emma Jane Hickman, of Paris, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Paris. Ms. Hickman was 85 years old. She was the daughter of the late George M. and Martha "Dolly" (Blackwell) Tygart. Ms. Jane loved gardening, cooking in which she was famous for her homemade bread and pies. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was very active in Union Assembly of God Church where she was a member.
Ms. Hickman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Lyndell Hickman; 2 sisters: Evelyn Hendrix and Ruth Friesen and 3 brothers: Luther Tygart, Jimmy Tygart and Kenneth Tygart.
She is survived by her 2 daughters: Jane Yvonne Moffet of Ozark, Arkansas and Marcia Lee McClure of Springdale, Arkansas; 1 sister: Magdalene Timmons of Tahlequah. Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren: Glenda R. McClure, Barbara D. McClure of and Shelby D. McClure; 2 great-grandchildren: Callie D. Gulledge and Oakleigh "Jane" Gulledge; her nephew that was more like her son, Curtis Tygart and three loving cousins, Bertha Fulmer, Jane Wade and Elizabeth Hickman; and many dear friends.
Funeral Service for Ms. Hickman was held on Friday afternoon, July 31, 2015, at Union Assembly of God Church in Paris.
Rev. David King officiated the funeral services. She was laid to rest at Raney Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Curtis Tygart, Bob Baker, Ronnie Bradley, Herman Black and Anthony King.
Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Self and Dean Bradley.
