Janette “Jan” Kidner, 76, of Hot Springs passed away Friday March 28, 2014. She was born September 16, 1937 to the late Edith Ellen Burrough Burris and Grover Walter Burris in Hot Springs.

Jan was a retired manager from U.S. Bank having opened the first branch in Hot Springs.
She will be forever remembered as the most loving and devoted mother, sister and Memaw with her own unique sense of style, her bright pink lipstick, fingernails and her vivacious laughter.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clarence “Bones” Kidner and one sister, Rose Dieck.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela and her husband Robert Brooks of Stafford, Virginia; one son, Mark H. Brooks of Hot Springs; one sister, Betty Chellino of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, Hannah and her husband Theo Scheungrab, Adriel Brooks, Ezekiel Brooks and Isaiah Brooks; two great grandchildren, Isaiah & Collin Scheungrab, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 3rd at Hot Springs Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Caring Place Scholarship Fund; 101 Quapaw; Hot Springs, AR 71901
