Edna Mae Clark
November 18, 1926 - September 24, 2023
Edna Mae Clark left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2023. She was born November 18, 1926, in the South Fork area near Hardy, daughter of the late Troy and Lucy Isabelle Couch French.
Edna was united in marriage to C.H. Clark on March 30, 1946.
She was a homemaker and an active member of the Portia Church of Christ. Edna loved to cook for her family and friends and help with church dinners. Her favorite pastime and hobby was sewing and selling handmade quilts. Edna was beloved by her family and friends, an absolute jewel to be treasured, and she’ll be greatly missed.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C. H. Clark, a son Danny L. Clark, and a grandson Jacob R. Sliger; and two brothers, Ernest, and W.H. French.
She is survived by a son, David Clark (Sarah) of Rockport, Texas; a daughter, Nancy Sliger (Randy) of Poplar Bluff, MO; three grandchildren, David H. Clark (Leandra), Emily Voulgaris, and Katherine Sliger; three great-grandchildren, Summer, Henry, and Dean; two sisters, Rosa Fay Vance of Portia, and Dorothy Huskey (Paul) of Strawberry; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 12 P.M. in the Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn with Robert Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:45 A.M. till 11:30 A.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie.
