August 11, 1910 - March 10, 1986
Leslie M. McBride, 75 of Van Buren, Arkansas, died Saturday, March 8, 1986 at a Van Buren nursing home.
A lifelong Crawford County resident, he retired in 1976 from Arkansas Game and Fish Commission after serving over 28 years as a game warden in Western Arkansas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Van Buren, the Van Buren Lodge 6, the Western Arkansas Consistory and the Crawford County Conservation League and was a Mason.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda of Van Buren; three sons, Brownie of Greenweood, Jerry of Fort Smith and John of Winston-Salem. North Carolina; a sister Eva of Van Buren; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Ocker memorial Chapel, with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Members of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission served as pallbearers.

October 21, 1909 - May 2, 1984
Ann McBride, 74 of 12 Mount Vista Van Buren, passed away Wednesday,in a Van Buren nursing home.
she was a member of the Van Buren First Baptist Church, the former Crawford County Treasurer, and a native of Fort Smith. She was a life long resident of this area.
She was survived by her husband, Leslie; one daughter, Linda Daniels of Van Buren; three sons, John of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Brownie of Greenwood and Jerry of Huntsville; one sister, Mary Bell of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held in Ocker Memorial Chapel with Rev. Stanley Daniel and the Rev. Murl Walker officiating. Burial was at Roselawn Cemetery.
