Marlin Joe Martin, 70, of Fort Smith, died April 19, 2018 in Fort Smith.
He was born May 29, 1947 in Fort Smith to Carl Edward and Wynema Long Martin.
He was owner/operator of Joe Martin Janitorial for 50 years and he was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Pocola.
He is survived by two sisters, Sandy and husband Paul Walker of Fort Smith and Carla Martin of Tahlequah, OK; one brother, Donald and wife Gwen Martin of Greenwood; business partner, Celeste Barnett and “Grandson” Matthew Bennett; three nephews, Rocky and Jared Walker and Cody Harris; three nieces, McKenna Autry, Amber Britten, and Ashley Gregg; and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Rye Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Smith, Richard Rieske, Cody Harris, Wendell Holland, Randy Martin, Jared Walker, Rocky Walker, and Johnny Andrews.
