October 30, 1934 - March 23, 2015
Tommie Sue Hunt, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away March 23, 2015. She was born October 30, 1934 in Jasper, Alabama, to the late Freeman Henson and Myrtle (Carlile) Tillery. Tommie was a lady of determination and was always there for anyone who needed help. She retired from the restaurant business after 42 years, but was best known as manager of the popular Sands Restaurant for nearly 30 years. Tommie was a Christian who loved her family dearly. Survivors include her son, Ken Hunt; sister, Betty Connor and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Crestview Cemetery with Bro. Doug Jones officiating. Pallbearers are Chase Burrough, Dylan Rhodes, Billy Burrough, Lyle Whitworth, Richard Atkinson, and BJ Lansdell. A special heart felt thank you to Arkansas Hospice.
