February 11, 1919 - January 9, 2017
Arlene A. Morey, 97, of San Antonio, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017, at home surrounded by family. She was born at the end of WWI on February 11, 1919, to George and Anna Bauer in Lacona, Iowa. She was preceded in death by husbands Leslie Wiles and Wilton Morey and by granddaughter Nancy Wiles. She is survived by her son Bill Wiles; daughter-in-law Carol; granddaughters Kimberly Williams and Cara Wiles-Romo; their spouses Randy Williams and Christopher Romo; great grandchildren Kimberly and Melissa Romo, Stephani Tavarez, Jacob, Leslea, Benjamin, and Caroline Williams.
Arlene had the ability to excel at anything she put her mind to; difficult jobs, cooking crafting, family, and forming lasting relationships. She practiced and lived her faith.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017, at 2PM at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 211 Roleto Drive in Castle Hills, Texas.
